Teeth Alignment
Means getting the teeth and roots in line for longterm optimum functioning. Our orthodontist specialises in all types of braces and clear aligners.
Teeth alignment is the process of altering the position of the teeth within the jawbones to straighten them and guarantee that they fit correctly during biting. Orthodontic treatment, often known as teeth alignment, strives to improve the function and appearance of your teeth by correcting the alignment of your mouth and jaw.
Orthodontics
Orthodontics focuses on correcting misaligned teeth, and at Priya Dental, we recommend a first dental visit by age six. Early exams can help prevent the need for extensive treatments later by maintaining space and preventing overcrowding.
With modern advancements, orthodontic treatments have become less noticeable. Traditional metal braces can be replaced with ceramic brackets, and we offer lingual orthodontics, which places braces on the inner side of the teeth. We also strongly recommend Invisalign, a more comfortable and discreet option compared to traditional braces.
Orthodontic care isn’t just for kids—adults can benefit, too. At Priya Dental, our goal is to help all patients achieve a beautiful, confident smile.

FAQs
1. How long does the process of aligning teeth take?
The time required varies widely and is entirely based on the tooth's original location. Most treatments last from 6 months to 3 years.
2. Is the alignment process painful?
When your treatment begins, you will experience some initial pressure on your teeth, which may be slightly uncomfortable. However, this is resolved within a few days.
3. Can I eat regular food while undergoing the treatment?
While wearing aligners there are no food restrictions. You just have to remove your aligners and eat whatever you want, rinse your mouth and wear your aligner.
While undergoing fixed orthodontic treatment with braces, avoid hard and sticky food.
4. Will aligners / Invisalign work on my teeth?
Aligners are effective for both teens and adults. Like other braces, aligners move teeth gradually to the desired position. It is accomplished by wearing a set of aligners, each for a certain amount of time, as prescribed by the specialist following a comprehensive clinical evaluation.
5. Do aligners cause any discomfort?
When a new set of aligners is worn, minimal discomfort occurs for the first few hours. Most patients feel a slight pressure on their teeth, which fades as they adjust to the new aligners.
6. For how many hours do I need to wear aligners in a day?
Aligners must be worn for at least 18-22 hours every day. The aligners must be removed while eating and brushing your teeth.
